The EPA lists Indoor Air Pollution as one of the the top 5 environmental health risks today!
Air Duct Cleaning is an excellent and commonly overlooked start to lower that health risk in your Ellisville, Missouri home or office.
Air pollutants are 4 to 7 times higher INDOORS than outdoors! We spend 80-90% of our time inside, increasing the risk for allergies, asthma, breathing problems and lung damage, especially in the young and elderly. You as a Ellisville area property owner would be absolutely SHOCKED to know what is typically sticking to the inside of air ducts. This is why you would want to get air duct cleaning as soon as possible.
Indoor air quality didn’t become an issue until we decided we needed airtight, energy-efficient homes. We’ve lowered our energy bills, but we’ve trapped pollutants inside our homes and offices. What’s in your air ducts? Dust, pollen, animal dander, mouse droppings, dust mites, drywall dust, insulation, fungus and bacteria. Each time the fan turns on, it forces them into your living environment for you to breathe… morning, noon and night. And, if your vent covers are located on the floor, you would be surprised what finds its way into your duct system.
When you need air duct cleaners to come out to your home and handle your airduct cleaning, call Rapid Dry at 314-291-8888 to get started right away!
Ellisville was settled by Captain James Harvey Ferris before 1837. He brought slaves with him when he settled his property in Ellisville, and it was here that the house that became known as the “Ellis House” was constructed. The bricks used for construction of the house were handmade by the slaves, and it was also called the “Brick Place” for this reason.
Captain Ferris sold the house to Vespasian Ellis, a newspaper editor. In 1842, Ellis became the United States consul. He ran several ads in the Native American Bulletin in an effort to sell his Ellisville farm. As a result, it was sold to William A. Hereford in 1842 or 1843. Hereford was a Virginian and is credited with the naming of Ellisville.
